What is Earnest Money and when is that due?

Earnest money is a good faith deposit made to the seller to demonstrate that the applicant is serious about completing the transaction. This can range on average from 1% - 3% of the purchase price.


Is an attorney required to close on a house?

In the state of South Carolina, an attorney is required for closing, however they are not required to review the purchase agreement (ie.attorney review).
