As we roll into 2023 I wanted to update you on our current market and what we are seeing as far as pricing thoughout Columbia and Lexington, South Carolina. 2022 saw some ups and downs, but ended the year 13.1% up year over year in our entire market, some of the biggest jumps we have seen. Predictions are all over the place for 2023, but things are heating up early with multiple offers already being seen in properties here early in 2023.
But let's get into the 2022 year over year stats to give you and idea of our local markets! I have broken down the areas I get asked about the most. 2022 Median Sales Price $240,000 which is up 9.1% year over year.
Lexington
2022 Median Sales Price $294,663 which is up 17.9% year over year.
Kershaw and Elgin
2022 Median Sales Price $294,263 which is up 17.7% year over year.

2022 Median Sales Price $924,000 which is up 34.9% year over year.
Lake Murray - Newberry
2022 Median Sales Price $575,000 which is up 9.5% year over year.
Lake Murray - Saluda
2022 Median Sales Price $625,000 which is up 38.9% year over year.
